In Democratic Republic of the Congo, on average the highest quantity of millet production occurs in Bandundu. Regarding nutritional losses, the number of people whose annual energy (kcal) dietary requirements could have been met with the estimated millet lost postharvest ranged from 20,150 people in 2000 to 23,632 people in 2014.
