Namibia, Millet, 2004

Namibia's estimated postharvest losses for millet in 2004 was 645 tonnes or 4.2%.

In the value chain, the majority of the loss is estimated to be happening at Transport from field, Harvesting/field drying, and then Threshing and Shelling. Highest estimated postharvest maize losses in tonnes were estimated to occur in Otjozondjupa.
